The S&M in "S&M Bikes" are the initials of the last names of the two founders. Chris Moeller and Greg Scott/Swingrover.  The "S" stands for Scott and the "M" stands for Moeller. started in 1986, still making great bikes today.http://www.sandmbikes.com/
