2012 S&M Intrikat
My new Street/Flat machine
I wanted to build something super clean and simple that didn`t look like a copy of what everyone else is building. I live in the hills here in Vallejo, Ca so I wanted to build this bike so that I could ride it across town if need be and still be able to enjoy riding flat and I think I acheived my goal. This bike is built up to be a professional level bike as all my bikes are, when I build I don`t worry about cost I worry about how dialed the bike is going to be when I get on it. The bike weighs 21 lbs 12 oz which is a pretty nice weight for a flat bike I think I don`t like my flat builds to be too light they tend to get to squirrely and I like about a 60/40 weight ratio meaning I like the bike alittle heavier in the back. I machined custom stainless steel axle adapters on the lathe at work for my 3/8 axle and have the chainstay set at exactly 13" I`m also running 22/9 gearing. Check out the parts list there`s alot of goodness there. Enjoy "Super D"
