1983 Redline PL-24.
I wanted to recreate my old `83 PL24 i raced from `83 to `84, I picked up this frame and fork and the drop outs were great but it had some dings and pretty bad chrome.
I also have wanted to do a bike in candy red, so here was my chance to build a PL 24 and do a candy red bike all at the same time.
The number 4 on the zeronine plate was my old aba mi-5 district number back in the day.
F/F -1983 Redline PL24. with nos decal set (not reproduction (thanks wbasulto!)
STEM- Redline brute.
BARS- CW cruiser. with new AME waffle Grips.
WHEELSET- Araya 7x chrome / Phil Wood hubs / s.s spokes / anno red nipples.
CRANKS,DISC,CHAINRING & BOLTS- All Sugino. with Tioga beartrap style bottom bracket.
PEDALS - Suntour xc1.
HEADSET- Hatta with BS dirtskirt.
BRAKES - DIACOMPE 901'S with Shimano DX brake levers.
SEAT / CLAMP - ACS Stoker seat /post with DC 2 piece clamp.
PADSET - Reproduction (thanks Cappy227!)
PAINT/POLISHING - Candy red over silver metallic base,done by Jared @ psycho customs
