1979 Redline MXII
1979 Redline MXII
My first full build since my teenage years, I am very happy with the result and it’s definitely the bike I would have loved as a kid but never would have been able to afford.
The frame and fork is a 1979 MXII/MXIII and it has MXIII decals. It has fresh powder coat and new custom decals.
Thanks to the following people who assisted:
Iceman on BMX Museum who I purchased the frame and forks from and who also provided some excellent advice on the build.
Justin at Porkchop BMX who has a great range of reproduction parts at very good prices.
Ben at Royal BMX (Perth) who helped greatly and was kind enough to put all the tricky parts together for me.
Redline flight cranks, Black Tuff II, Kasimax seat & Comp II tyres.

2001 Diamond Back Viper X
Purchased from Ebay Australia for $29.00. Plan is to clean up and make it a honest everyday ride. GONE GONE - Given to my nephew.
