1988 Redline RL-20b
Old school ride w/some new school technology.! 1/8" thread less converted.
I got his ride from an old friend of mine when I was visiting my hometown for FREE. I remembered he had it all this time and I asked what he was doing with it. It was in his in laws garage just collecting rust. He told me to take it and do something with it.It was in ROUGH shape. I stripped it down, clean up and now it`s in the works. It was almost all original except that it had Haro group 1 race bars and generic dirt tires. Other then that, it was all stock from the Fuan A`me tri look a likes to the Araya/Joytec 48s. I was shocked that the fork pegs were still on it. So here it is under construction w/ Standard kneesavers and a few of the parts after vinegar bath/polishing compound. I believe it`s an 88 due to the gray rear triangle.Updates later.
Update. I mocked up the bike just to ride it...=)
Maxxis M-tread tired ( borrowed from my Haro F4 along w/ the Haro straight shooter forks),no name rims w/GT Mohawk hub. ( rear) 14mm Haro hub and Alex Mx22 rim ( front ) ( donated from a friend of mine) I decided to use these wheels till I get the original Araya`s true`d. Tioga MX2 cups w/Aheadset MTB headset. Thats right 1 1/8" threadless converted !!! Fit 3 piece cranks w/ Redline device BB. Bike rides/feels great. More to come....

I found this frame and fork a few years ago in a garbage can. My little cousin had no decent bike so I decided to build him one for his birthday.
