1981 Redline MX-II
Original Candy Blue MXII with undrilled 82 GT Santa Ana forks. My original ABA race bike. I bought this bike in late 1981 and raced it at Ascot Raceway for two years before going into junior high.
It's been kicking around in storage for years. My younger bother rode it in the late 80's, early nineties till he got his license. It was actually much nicer before he got his hands on it, but oh well.
It's about 50% original with the: GT undrilled forks (never liked the look of the Redline forks) UNI seat, Sugino Maxy Cross cranks & 43T chainring, Shimano DX pedals, GT expert bars, AME Tri grips, DC MX 900s, DC MX hinged post clamp, Cal-Lite pads, Haro Circuit Board plate, Z-rims/sunshine hubs, Cheng Shin comp IIIs, and Diamondback Sugino stem.
