1985 Redline RL-20 Prostyler - BMXmuseum.com

I got this bike in 1985 and stopped using it about 1990. I never got rid of it because it meant so much to me at the time. It has spent the last 16+ years in damp sheds getting rusty! It was not until a mate alerted me to the scene going on with retro bikes that inspired me to get this bike restored. The project grew horns! I spent a fortune. The detail I went into to get the stickers bang on was crazy. All the parts that were replaced (seat, post, brakes, handlebars, chain, crank, flywheel) on the bike are from the mid 80's (except the pedals....shimano lookalikes) The white paint finish on the bike is FERRARI BIANCO. The same shade of white as is on a white Ferrari (I work in the car repair industry and have access to millions of vehicle colours). Back in the day I felt very proud to own this bike and I hope my restoration has done it justice.
