1979 Rampar Mite-Y-Mite 16

Rampar's pit bike...

Here is an old Rampar Mite-Y-Mite. This came with mostly steel stock parts, i upgraded it with a Rampar double bump stem, the 80's 16" tuffs, and some Rough Rider pit bars that i had stripped and re-ano'd black. Frame is new powder coat. The brake bridge has been modified, it was originally out back, and way higher. I used a dremmel w/ a waffle cut-off wheel and cut it off, ground smooth, etc. Then i had my friend make a new bridge and i welded it on the other side, like a 'goose with my mediocre tig welding skills. So you can use a caliper on it now, specifically a 890. but the "rider" is not quite ready for that yet. Used a lot of spare parts for it also, like the tires, headset (30MM), etc. This Rampar has a Euro BB, which was a challenge to get someting that would work, a Sugino BB, Sugino 36T chainwheel, and Sinz 115MM cranks. It was the only cranks i could find that small. I made the stickers myself at my screen print shop, Brighter Image. Now it will get ridden!
