This is my '79 R-10. This bike actually belonged to a friend of mine when I was growing up and I always wanted it. When it came time for him to get a new bike I tried to talk him into selling me the Rampar but he said he was going to keep it and never get rid of it. Then a few years later after my friend moved, by chance I found out that his cousin ended up with the bike and I bought it off his cousin when I took over his paper route. I rode the bike for awhile while still in high school and then my brother rode it for awhile after me. At one point my dad was going to throw it away because it had led a pretty hard life but I took it and started restoring it. After about 8 years of working on the bike off and on here it is in all it's glory again. I replaced the spoked rims with Skyway Tuff II rims, the coaster brake with a hand brake, but other than that it's exactly how it looked the first day I saw it when I was 7 or 8 years old.
