1984 Raleigh R2500 CFS
The son's first racer.
Found the frame/fork/headset online. Added parts out of my depot as the son wanted to race. Mushroom grips, GT bars (black spray but chrome under - one day to return!), Polygon neck, Tange headset. Look at those forks, JMC syling, but frame and forks are HEAVY! Then onto the Viscount 2200 cheek padded seat, Takagi Cro-Mo 175x24, Sugino star, Sugino 40T, MKS Foot Jaws, Falcon brakes, Araya rims and Shimano quick change rear hub. Couldn't resist the 2.125F/1.75R gum wall sneaks. It's a sweet ride, long and stable over today's rhythm section.
