1979 Patterson Pro

Here is my Patterson restoration from beginning to end. This is a rare Patterson Pro frame, that based on the serial number, was built in 1979 or early 1980. After some research and many conversations, it appears that it is an original team frame due to it having never been nickel or chrome plated. I purchased this from MR. Krash101 as a frame and fork and at the time was also told it was a team race frame. It had been spray bombed and was in less than ideal condition. The original paint was blue and under the paint you could still see the original tube markings. I decided to keep the original color but used a candy finish. I don't really care for powder coating so I paint most of my frames myself. Below is the link that shows project from start to finish:
UPDATE 1/14/12: After completing this build I loved the way that it came out but it with the wheels it had was not a feasible rider. Though this bike is not likely to be ridden a lot because of its diminutive size I still wanted to not have to worry about wearing out $ parts. Changes that were made were all based on changing the orange PC'd Araya 7x's to Gold Araya 7c's. Changed a few items to make the color combo work with era correct parts.
