1976 Panda MX
Early Panda MX non-brake bridge Looptail from Concord, California (Northern Cali)...
1976 Panda MX with no brake bridge, integrated seat clamp, but no screwed in bb cups. I bought this frame off of Ebay and actually picked it up locally. It was in good structural condition but the paint was toast. I painted it a metallic black because I don't really care much for the original early Panda metallic burnt orange and metallic blue colors. The frame came out looking really nice and it is a great rider. It has a long (for vintage BMX bikes) 20" top tube and a very laid back seat tube angle which gives a roomy cockpit for my 6'2, 220 lb carcass. It is built with the following parts:
1976 MX Non-brake bridge Frame
NOS Chrome Stamped Ashtabula Forks
CEBE Double Clamp Stem
VDC Fluted Bars
OURY Motocross Grips
FEMCO Steel Wheels w Redline rear Hub and Bendix Coaster
Cheng Shin Knobbies
Troxel Quilted Seat
190 mm Stamped Ashtabula Cranks
NOS Red Rat Traps
Re-Chromed Three Arrow 46T Chainwheel
