A friend of mine got this bike through a trade, a repair on another bike as a trade for this one. It sat in a barn for a few years, and was covered in a layer of scum and dirt. I was looking for another project so I rode this home and started working on it. Riding it home was probably the biggest challenge, the chain was loose, handle bars were leaning too far forward, brakes were bad, and it had two flat tires but I got it to my shed and started working on it. The only parts I had to replace were the brake lever, upper cable, pedals, rear tube, and rim tape. I also switched out the bars and kept the stock ones. Everything else I either threw out or was able to adjust into working condition.
