2002 Nirve Rail
This bike is almost all stock. The Nirve components are all Voxom branded, a company that still makes beach cruiser bikes, but quickly abandoned BMX
Sold on Ebay Sept 2010. =to member Gas cat
Found OG Nirve fork and Voxom stem here in the museum and reconstituted the bike.
The non-oem parts are: Answer Alumalite pro fork, black S&M racing handlebars, Redline Stem, Maxxis Holy Rollers tires, Wellgo square traps, and Cane Creek S-1 Aheadset.. I have the original fork, but it is heavy for a racing bike at almost 3 lbs. Oem bike components are: 7005 aluminum frame with integrated chain tensioners, Voxom Seat, post, and clamp, sealed hubs, three-six-d’s rims, Voxom 3 piece Chromoly race cranks, 44t sprocket, and Tektro V-brakes. The guy I bought it from said it was a 2002, but the serial number makes me think the frame was mfg’d in 2000. I’m going with 2001. This bike is very light. From what I understand Voxom was founded by ex GT people after the sale, and they sold bikes via internet and mail-order only. I think this will prove to be a rare bike some day.
