2001 Mosh Brass 3 Star
All original 100% stock.
I purchased this bike on sale a shop in West Bend, WI. I hadn't been on a bike in about 13 or 14 years. I loved the raw metal look, with the heat discoloration from the welds showing, in combination with the black components.
I rode this bike quite a lot for a couple of years, mostly just cruising around town with a little flatland tinkering thrown in for old time's sake. Eventually the bike ended up in the basement and stayed there a few years. Later, I gave the bike away to a deserving 14 year old kid who rode the heck out of it for a couple of years... until she got to the age where her friends had cars and the bike sat forgotten in their garage for a time. Eventually I was able to reacquire it and it sat in my basement again for a few years.
I finally pulled it up from the basement and started trying to clean it a up a bit. It's going to need some TLC for sure.
There's a bit of rust in spots where the clear coat had been scratched on the frame, the bolts in the stem, etc. Nothing significant though.
Everything is 100% original minus two new inner tubes.
I had intended to clean it up and sell to help fund a vintage ride, but now I have decided to keep it. It's nothing fancy, but I do like it and I have some fond memories tied to it.
Aside from cleaning, it'll need new brake pads and that's about it. It's a rider.
