1980 Mongoose Supergoose
Recreating my race bike from back in highschool.
It's got rust, came with a Maglite with a serious hop on the rear, no front wheel, bent Takagi 175s and a Sugino Spyder, 1993 GT forks and Bars, a gold MCS 6 bolt and an orange Tioga layback seatpost. It did have an original black Mongoose saddle.
I finally got a pair of SS bars with original black mongoose hex grips, stamped 175s and a gold stem. I am rolling on some black Z-rims for now and am having John Kovachi rebuild the proclass rims I picked up.
I got some Mongoose Forks but they aren't chromo, so if you've got some of the original 7/8" leg chromoly Mongoose supergoose forks, I am game.
At least I get to tool around on a Supergoose in progress.
