1979 Mongoose Motomag
A good friend of mine gave me this bike as he had lost interest in it.
I was talking to a Mate the other day, that I used to knock around with as a young fella, and I told him I was collecting Old School BMX's.
I asked him if he still had his old Redline that he used to ride BITD
and he said he had swapped it for a Mountain Bike back in the late
Eighties, but he said he still had a Mongoose
that he got off another one of our Mates back in the early Eighties.
Long story short he said I could have it as he had lost interest in it
and thought it would be a lot better cared for in my collection.
I
have a real connection to this Mongoose as I can remember when my other
Mate had it BITD and we used to ride together.
