1984 Mongoose Grand Prix - BMXmuseum.com

Manufactured for the European market, that budget bike was a mix between a Motobecane MX 300 (141400 is the code for the Motobec MX 300) with chromoly mainframe and most parts of the Mongoose Expert. Very rusty when i got it, i spent lots of hours cleaning it as best i could. The only parts i kept were the frame, Proclass type handlebars, CMC Proclass type wheels and saddle. I also kept the original stix even if they were damaged. Most of the parts i added are from BITD, except tires (Kenda 20 x 1,75), MX type brake lever, cable and sheath, caps and aloy fluted seat post. Everything else, Tange, Tuff Neck, Tioga, Takagi, SR, Bmx Products, 1020 type, Mongoose Flight Pads, Tech Plate type and ACS-mongoose stamped stem. The whole seems to be rather light.
