1996 Mongoose Menace 24
Awesome Retro design frame.
UPDATE: Put a usa made profile crank on, NOS gt zip back post, and a primo hemmoroid seat!!!
I wanted a 24 for a while. Contemplated a quadangle and the found this on ebay. Was original f/f post, forks were bent in a wierd way where everything lined up and rode straight but the tubes wernt lined up, it looked like a factory defect almost. I basically scraped it all and built it piece by piece from the frame up using quite a few parts from bikes ive parted out and stuff ive found on ebay/museum! Heres the parts break down.
96 menace frame painted flat black (have NOS decal kit, just the "menace" has been installed and its staying that way)
96-97 schwinn predator 24 forks (found them NOS on ebay for 24.99 shipped)
2hip NOS bar flats
NOS peregrine quick change stem adapter ( so I could run a threadless stem on a 1" steer tube)
elf stem (from 96 doublecross)
NOS odyessy dynatron headset
gt racing 180mm 3 pc cranks (off 01 thumper)

gt 26.0 laid back cromo post (off 01 dyno xr)
zefal seat from walmart lol most comfy seat ever and looks good on it (primo hemroid put away for this bike)
