1981 Mongoose Minigoose
Oldschool and cool!
Here we have a minigoose i bought for the Grand kid from a fellow club member for the kid to cruz the neighborhood on. This started out as a Frame & fork combo and was pieced back together with the following parts.
Frame: Mongoose, BMX products
Forks: Takagi brand, Mongoose
Bars: Mongoose SS bars, black
Grips: Mushrooms installed(not in 1st pic)
Goose neck: unmarked Ashtubala single clamp stem
Cranks: unmarked Ashtubala, dated '81
sprocket: Sugino 44t, Mongoose stamped
Pedals: Rat trap style
Seat clamp: unmarked
Seat post: Original
Seat: Quilted, troxel style
Wheels: Femco's installed (Motomags II available for re-install).
Tires: 7 stars, knobby 20x1.75
Headset: Mongoose stamped
Bottom bracket hardware: mongoose stamped
pad set: Black handlebar and frame pad - leather
Chain guard: Original style
Kick stand: Original style WALD, rear axle mounted type
Rear reflector/bracket: Mongoose stamped bracket, with black rear
Wanted parts:
- front reflector and bracket (maybe, but really don't care if I don't get one).

- Details Motomags removed for safety reasons of protecting the mags from damage.
The grad kid would like to let this minigoose fall onto his newer Hoop-d goose with the monster pegs and I was worried the MMII's would get damaged.
