1981 Mongoose Kos Kruiser 26
This is my friend John's '81 Kos Kruiser we just finished. It took us about a year to find all the parts.
John found this bike on Craigslist listed as an 80's Redline cruiser. After studying the picture he determined that is was indeed a KOS and swooped on it the next day. The bike was set up as a multi-speed with some cool sturmey archer hubs and some nice cranks, and the DX pedals. After the restore the Kos ended up with the following:
