1983 Maximum - BMXmuseum.com

I should have taken pictures of my bike before the restoration. It was in my aunt's basement for over 20 years. When I pulled it out, the back tire was gone, surface rust from head to toe. It's amazing what steel wool and some tlc will do. My friend (Scott) and I were sponsored by Maximum. I started racing in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and then moved to Florida. I've held on to my bike for about 25 + years. I have a six year old boy who I passed it down to. It meant more to do this than to buy him a new bmx bike. I know the pads and plate aren't original, but it's all I could find. All I replaced were the tires, chain, grips, brake, number plate and pads. Everthing else is original.  P.S. If anyone knows the history of Maximum, let me know.
