1999 Marin 24"
1998ish MARIN CRUISER...aluminum frame with oval top and bottom tubes with SE cruiser forks.
I picked this up off of CL for $50. I couldn't tell what it was but I could see it had BOSS bars on it. It was a bit of a drive to get it but I picked it up and was pleasantly suprised. It had 20 layers of paint and most of the parts where trash but after stripping it, repainting it, and replacing junked parts it has evolved into a really nice rider. I offered to build it for my wife and she said that it had to be violet and white....so that is what it is with a little black becuase those are the parts I had. The frame has no flex even when my 220lb mashes on it.

A nice CL score...got it for $140 primarily because it had some worn out and junk parts and was in some sore need of attention....

This bike is a very clean Mid-School Powerlite P-47 Jr. Racer. It appears to have all original parts as well. (SOLD to a member)

This is one of my favorite 24's. I bought the frame and fork from members and it is a non-serial number frame painted in a beautiful candy red.
