1984 Kuwahara Exhibitionist
For me, this is the ultimate early 80's freestyler.
This is the frame set I always wanted as a kid but could never afford it. When I got back into BMX around 8 years ago and started building a couple of bikes, I got to thinking about one of these again. I saw 3 come up for sale in the following years and, in late 2011, I was lucky to get this one. The chrome and decals are survivor as the original owner had had it hung in his lobby since he stopped using it back in '87. I wanted to build it as a clean looking 'survivor/rider' to start with the parts you see before I started gathering the parts for a final build that I have in my head.
