1989 Kastan 16"
This was a custom cut down 20" KEX Kastan Pro-S. Most of the work in the frame was kept to the rear triangle. The seat post tube was shortened 1" and the top tube was left at the original length. The strut is a second generation 20" Pro strut with two inches taken from the bottom so as to look factory made. I also had a set of mismatched single pinch Redline Flight cranks cut down to 160mm just for this bike. This bike is a blast to ride and just like riding a 20" bike with 16" wheels. All the cuts were made at factory weld locations to keep the frame rigid and have no possibility of cracking.
I would like to give a special thanks to Rod Miles for the exceptional work done to create this bike. For those of you that would like to have a pit bike made or need any repairs, this guy is amazing.
