1984 JMC Darrell Young
Fresh out of the grandparents attic
I just dug my old JMC out of it's 20+ year hibernation from my grandparents attic this week and thought I'd share. It's an 84 JMC Darrell Young and was the last bike I raced. I bought the frame, fork and 20 X 1 3/8 Ukai rims in 1984 at Action Wheels in NJ. The handlebars and stem are MCS. It also has Red Line flight cranks, Pete's Precision sprocket, Shimano DX's, Grab-On's and a Uni seat. Right now it sits just as I last rode it (around 1986). I plan on disassembling it this winter, polishing and reassembling as is. Thanks for the great site! Chris
