2012 Intense Race Pro 24
My first new BMX bike since 1984!
For some reason after 25+ years I started thinking about riding a BMX bike again. So I bought a 2012 cruiser on close out over the holiday. I did see where it was only recommended for 5-10" and lower so I bought a used Ciari 63mm stem and never even put the 50mm on. So far so good = I haven't hit my knees yet, but its close at times. I might be able to get away with a 60/57mm stem, but its fine for now. So far I like! The bike is a lot more maneuverable than my 29" and I rode the 29 standing up most of the time so the lower frame/seat of the 24" doesn't seem to be a problem. The Race Pro 24 is a budget bike and some of the components are not that great, but they will do just fine for riding around and learning how to ride a smaller bike again. I would never pay MSRP for this bike, but for the closeout price I'm happy.
Its raining in Oregon so the picture color is not quite right. the decals are red, not pink. I will get better pictures when the sun comes out.Toptube:
