1985 Hutch Trick Star
USA made frame done in "Futuristic Black" powder coat done by C4 labs
I had a Candy Red TrickStar back in 80's & I remember a Futuristic black one around the same time hanging in "Bikes Fantastic" in Floral Park NY. To me back then this color was like the Terminator, like the future, it left such an impression on me as a kid -so bad ass...I never really saw another but I had this bike in my head for for all those years since.
It took me about 6 months to source all the parts. I just wanted to build a cool freestyle bike not intentionally sticking to any era. I used most of my all time favorite parts including the frame and this is what came out. Chip at C4 labs did the powder coating about 3 years ago and its absolutely flawless. He said he used the very same powder that Hutch used back then. The texture on this bike is also really unique it feels tough like you cant scratch it.
Most of the parts are US made & this is a bike from a better time in the world...
