1984 Hutch Pro Racer - BMXmuseum.com

The frame and fork have a nice original chrome finish and the original decals on the frame, no dents or dings and awesome dropouts.

I wanted to build a replacement for my old Pro Racer from when I was a kid and I am quite happy with the results! I sold my old Pro Racer to my cousin back in 1992 and 20 years later he still won’t sell it back. But now I have one again!

The parts breakdown is: 1984 Hutch Pro Racer Frame and Fork, 1984 Hutch pro bars, A’me Tri grips, Hutch Aerospeeds, Pro Neck 44t, Suntour 16t freewheel, Izumi chrome chain, Hutch pedals, Hutch stem, Tange headset, Hutch seat post clamp, Kashimax Hutch seat, Tioga Comp III tires, Chrome Dia-Compe MX 901 brake, Shimano DX lever, Shimano cable clamps, chrome Araya 7X wheels, Hutch Zap Pads and Hutch Rad Kaps. I still want some NOS black on white A’me Unitron grips for it like my old bike had.

I want to thank all the members who helped me out with part for this build especially esp_mini_wi for the great frame, fork and bars, and badmofo for the Rad Kaps, those little suckers are hard to find!
