1984 Hutch Pro Raider
Hutch PRO RAIDER
I got this from a scrapyard , all that was left was the frame , fork , headset , seatpost,seatclamp,cranks and bottom bracket . I immeidiately recognized it as a Hutch due to the Hutch stamp on the rear brake hanger . Hutch BMX bikes are very hard to find here in Canada , this is the only one I've ever come across . This project took a bit of time to put together , I found a set of anodized red wheels on Craigslist in excellent condition , Sumo rims laced to Suzue hubs , the best .
Stem is from a random BMX , Handlebars are from a Specialized Fatboy but look old school . This bicycle is incredibly lightweight and a pleasure to drive .
Still needs a bit of final touches but I'm riding it brakeless now . Will soon install a anodized red MX rear brake ... Thanks for looking !!
