1997 Heavy Tools Screamer
The bike is a Heavy Tools Screamer BMX which I bought new in 1997. It was made specifically for flatland, but could be used for anything. It has all the features of a flatland bike, knee-saver bars, a gyro (the bars spin all the way around without affecting the brakes) and a freehub (the bike can roll forwards or backwards without the pedals moving - essential for flatland riding).
The spec is good, mainly KHE parts, Odyssey gyro, GT seat, Dia-Compe AD990 brakes etc. There are a few scrapes from use and the bike has been in storage for the last 10 years while I've been living abroad, so there is a bit of tarnish on close inspection and some of the chrome plating has bubbled on the rims, but all in all it's in decent order.
Pics and words nabbed from this page..hope they dont mind..just trying to preserve the bmx history..
