1986 Haro Master
From the department of run-what-ya-brung.
First (possibly only) photo of my '86 Master from BITD. Didn't have the cash for more parts, so the first version of this bike used parts scavenged from my '86 Schwinn Free Form EX (bars, stem bolt, spider, cranks) and my '82 GT race bike (everything else including blue Tuff Neck stem, Arayas, UNI).
The things we built back then to ride... this is how it was for many of us. Eventually I did get matching Haro bars, and a non-UNI seat etc). Oh, it wasn't pretty, but we sure had fun!
And I am SO SORRY about the bedspread. Yes, I had this bed spread into high school, whatever. Cripes, we were spending our money on bikes, not redecorating our bedrooms, give me a break!
