1998 GT Pro Series
This is my 1998 GT Pro Series XL survivor. It's in great shape with minor chrome flaking in a couple of spots but for the most part the chrome is very nice and the bike shows very well.
It's equipped with the original GT crankset, Pro bars, brakes, Weinmann (I believe) rims with GT Mohawk hubs, seat, clamp, and post. The stem is an old Redline that got on there before I picked it up. It also has a old set of Comp III's that the sidewalls are dried out to the point I can't tell what kind they are. The rear is badly worn and the front still has alot of tread. They hold air and don't bulge on the sides.
The forks on this bike are not original and i'm not sure what kind they are... They have the slash cut at the bottom of the tubes like Landing Gear but they are definitely not SE. I'm pretty sure they are Akisu. They have nice welds and are in good shape.
I really like this bike. There's just something about it that's comfortable for me.
