1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team
Frame is original paint, everything else restored or NOS to help me recreate my childhood bike.
Life history, where do I start? After much color debate and searching for the holy grail paint job I actually ended up with a beautiful survivor frame set from a good member, LooseNut who felt my pain(t). This is what it was all about and I want to thank each and everyone that had some kind of input or help me with that hard to find part etc. I can honestly say that the build wouldn't of came out as nice had I just been part shopping and googling for things. I could not have done it without the bmxmuseum so thanks! Bikes can come and go but you will not catch this one leaving the collection, period. I waited for the best opportunity I could to take the photos at our Lakefront near New Orleans, LA. I brought the handlebars to the BMX Society 2012 Show in South El Monte, CA at the beginning of June and I had them signed by Martin Aparijo and Eddie Fiola, who hanging out with was definitely one of the best experiences ever, scratch one from the bucket list! I will be reserving a post and adding more thanks and photos from the Cali show, etc so do check back. Hope you enjoy the effort and thanks!
