1996 GT Vertigo
The replacement for my 86 Ross Piranha. Recently taken out for commuting duty.
For the longest time I though this was a 1995 Vertigo, when in actuality it is a 96. There's a build date sticker on the bottom that shows August 25, 1995, but the serial is YC96, so I guess it is a 1996.
The bike was purchased in September of 1995 as a gift for my 8th Grade Graduation / start of high school.
I rode it for 2-3 years before my mom started using it for riding around the camp sites.
I'm going to build it up as sort of a retro cruiser with parts from PorkChop BMX so that I can ride it around and relive my old days.
