1991 GT JR Performer 16
GT Jr. Performer - Daughter's first real bike
This is my daughter's Christmas gift for 2008. It's a '91 Jr. Performer that I broke down and redid for her in a light pink that suits her girliness. :) It was originally blue and I stripped it and had museum member NEON powder it for me and I built it back up with some 16" coaster tuffs and stickered it like an '87. I also had a custom decal with her name made and I think it's the perfect touch! She loves it and it was a blast to restore for her. Here's a list of what I used and as you'll see, this list represents what I thought would suit her the best and I made no effor to be era-correct or anything like that.
F/F: 1991 GT Jr. Performer
Bars: GT Jr. Performer
Stem: original Jr. Stem (spray-bombed white)
Wheels: 16" coaster tuff wheels

The last pic is the priginal state of the bike and this link is the detail of the rebuild.
