1989 Dyno Detour

Custom build with modern touches

Was wanting to build something else in a GT yellow with ano blue parts. I already have two other Dynos, but a trade with Oldschoolracer netted me this really nice chrome Detour frame.  Since the chrome frame came with blue and purple decals, I started adding purple parts with the already collected blue and yellow parts. I still want to change the seat post clamp and the brake pads. A new Hyper Metro was sacrificed for the build. Just decided to do something different! Here's a run down of the parts list:

1989 Dyno Detour frame (original chrome)

2012 Hyper freestyle forks (painted yellow)

2012 Hyper front load quill stem (blue ano)

2012 Hyper 25T alloy chainwheel (blue ano)

2012 Hyper Metro 48 spoke alloy wheels, loose bearing, 9T rear hub (blue ano hoops & hubs - black spokes/chrome nipples)

Black Ops "GT Performer" style Chromo handlebars (painted yellow)

Odyssey 1999 front & rear brakes (polished)

Odyssey Gyro rear cables (purple)

Odyssey SLS linear front cable (purple)
