1986 Dyno Compe

Time to finish a project that started 21 years ago.

Well this is the bike I received on Christmas of 1986.  I even found the owners manual and as well as  the sale info from the bike shop my dad purchased it from.  He bought it 11-13-86 from Pedal Shop in Edwardsville, IL.  It was green with white handlebars.  He even had them swap out the spoke wheels from a set of Skyway Tuff 2's.

Well somewhere around the age of 13 I decided I was going to take it apart and repaint it, because I was a lot of paint chips on it from wrecking and stuff.  I took it all apart and then primed it, and never touched it after that.  I forgot all about it till my sister mentioned that she had it sitting in her shed.  Unfortunately the box with ALL the parts was thrown out, but hey, I have got something to work with.

The GT tires look in good shape, other than the funky color them and the mags have turned... hopefully I can restore them both.
