Here is an email form Tim with some facts on Reach BMX Systems. Dear bullseyejunkieNick, The original 1983 REACH Direct Links: 200 were made by Track Master in Southern California. 100 were black and 100 were chrome. Some copies were made in 1984 by a Pennsylvania boat builder. Those were made of stainless steel. I'm not sure how many they made. The design was slightly different. AIR: Tubing was purchased for 100 frames in 1984. Only ten were delivered and the builder (Don Maxwell) went bankrupt and disappeared. Several years later he was building my frames under the name Kustom Inc. I believe only a few of those were built. Don was an excellent frame builder. He built sprint car frames. He has since passed away and is in the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame. http://www.narhof.com/ind-detail.asp?DriverID=37 - directlinkbmx |
