1982 Diamond Back Pro Star MX is for the serious BMX bike collector. Most people I talk too, never knew that Diamond Back produced this bike and what it's important role was in Diamond Back history. It was produced just one year (1982) and wasn't marketed in the USA that year.

The bike came with the unique Star gusset instead of the usual Diamond gusset that the Diamond Back's from this era are known for. This frame set was marketed the following year (1983) in the USA with a new name and the Diamond gusset. This frame and fork set became Diamond Back's iconic "Viper". The rest is BMX history.
