1980 DG Banty - BMXmuseum.com

Well I finally finished my latest old school build and I`m very happy with the way it turned out. This is my 1980 DG Banty 16" pit bike which is 100% NOS !!!!! Yes the entire bike is NOS pretty cool huh :lol: The DG Banty frame came from Jim Wallace who was a factory DG team rider . This frame was given to him and never built, the rest of the parts I chose by finding nos parts that I got when I was around 11 years old by saving lunch money, doing chores & collecting pop bottles off the street and turning them in at the local market as back in 1980 the store would give you ten cents a piece for pop bottles. Tracking down all of these pieces nos was very difficult but well worth it, how many times in your life can you say I have a BRAND NEW DG !!!! Anyhow now you know that "Super D" doesn`t build just mid school & new school like I`m known for. I got involved with BMX in 1976 and raced from 1979 to 1981 here in Northern California. Me, my wife & kids all ride bmx and I ride everyday for around two hours practicing Flatland which is what I enjoy most. Enjoy "Super D" :D
