1989 Csepel Extra - BMXmuseum.com

This is my Csepel BMX Extra. You may ask why "Extra"? Well, I can tell you - the one that is not called "Extra" has coaster brake.... That's it, if you have calipers, you have an "Extra" bike! At least, in Hungary, in 1989. But seriously, this is the kind of bike I grew up with. It's actually a 2nd generation frame (I have one of the 1st series, as well - will upload it soon), it's almost complete and it's fully factory original. The stem pad and the rear reflector are missing though. Those parts seem to have vanished in the haze, couldn't arrive at any. Actually, there were lights on this bike (still have them), head- and tail lights, I just couldn't bear with the wires...). The bike still has the OG tyres from BITD, Sava "Cross Trim", made in Yugoslavia. It has a 3-piece crank set and a San Marco seat. Other than that, I can't really name any parts with a brand name (maybe the stem...). After all, I still love this bike, it takes me back in time when I'm riding it... Enjoy!

PS. Some of you may find the position of the bars a bit awkward... I agree, but this is just the way they're comfortable for me! :-)
