1999 Clayborn FLS
1 of only 10 Clayborn Freestyle Frames
1999 Clayborn FLS
Designed by Scott Powell, and made by Clayborn. This is one of 20 Proto-type Freestyle frames made....10 made for Clayborn, 10 made for Powell. This is the only frame Clayborn added a decal set to. It is numbered 010 on the dropout( 1 of the 10 clayborns)
I have rode this frame since 2004 when I aquired it. It has been through a series of parts, but here is a run-down of what I'm using at this time.
Frame: Clayborn FLS
Forks: Haro Master
Bars: Redline Aluminum forklifters
Cranks: Profile unstamped
seatpost: Primo layedback
Grips: Ame Tri

Levers: tech 77 dia compe locking
Wheels: Haro Master sealed hubs/Alex doublewall

This is a very smooth riding bike, and gets alot of attention at the skateparks.
Also pictured is Matt Wilhem with one of the proto-type Powell frames.
UPDATE: 3-25-10
My Clayborn FLS is a great rider, and
I have been using it for a few years now with no true updates. So over this winter I tore the tathered bike apart, ans stripped the frame down. The frame was then powdercoated Lime Green, and I started to gather parts to rebuild it. A new set of Kenda kontact tires, We the people seat, Ame tri grips, and Dia-Compe tech99 levers were added. I made my own gyro cables in white, and the pedals, sprocket, and bearing cups got hit with white epoxy. So here is an updated picture for all to see....before I go out an ride some more!
