1981 CCM Supercycle Panther
My ghetto ride from BITD
Found this while visiting my parents in the country .
One of my old BMX frames from when I was a kid .
I got this from a friend of my dad's who owns a scrapyard , he let me take a few BMXs he had around .
I fixed it up , rode it for a while , so did my brothers , raced it around on our dirt BMX tracks in the woods with friends .
Sold it to some kids in town , they painted it , rode it for a year or 2 , then they traded it back to me .
I fixed it up again and rode it for a while , but eventually the seat collar broke ( as shown )
Later on the stem broke inside the forks so I just gave up on it and stripped it for parts .
Not the best geometry , but a very solid , classic frame with cool gussets .
These were pretty common as Canadian Tire ( Big department store here in Canada ) sold them .
Anyways just a blast from the past and some memories for me , one of my first , original BMXs .
Maybe one day I will give it a full resto , ya never kno :)
