1992 Auburn CR20RX Pro XL
'Bad to the Bone'
'Bad to the Bone' was Auburn's advertising phrase in 1992 magazine adverts. The neon green 1992 CR20RX is the most sort after Auburn model. Definately Auburn at its best. This example has original paint and decals.
Established in 1987 by Todd Huffman and Bob Morales. Todd, an ex-B Pro racer, and Bob, a former freestyle rider, came together and founded a company called Mor Distributing. They them went into making their own BMX bike to distribute with the high demand, brand name scooter and freestyle lines. In 1989 their annual production rate was 2000 units and the only model availble was the CR-20R 20" pro sized frame. (Information taken from BMX Plus Sept 1989).
Auburn Cycles produced USA made frames etc until the mid 90's.
