1989 Auburn
Serial 1188 start, would be a late 88 build and sold as an 89 model.
I got this bike from the original owner in 89 or so.. It has been in my Aunt's garage, until 2007 when i finally got my Cousin to send it to me.
He did a great pacak and ship job.
I am rebuilding it as if i were building it to race, not factory, not a survivor, but if i was 16 again and wanted to race it.
It looked like a big rack of meat when i got it. what a gift to get though...
Needed the ole oxalic bath...
Now it needs a few more parts.. a more era correct chainring.. etc.
