2004 Alliant Express Jr.cruiser 24"
recent owner installed headset cups and nothing else.
girl friend had to show me this little jewel hanging from the chain link fence at the winter national in phoenix.I swore i was not going to build up another custom bike from frame up again. We had been looking at a 09 haro mini or micro mini for my grandaughter a nother one to the bmx racing world she is turning three in may. so this is going to be a x-mas gift and im going to down size this as much as posible so it will be more like a mini. when i saw this thing it was a done deal.never built up except bearing cups in head tube.i think i got a little over excited when i saw this thing. i should no better but i had gotten scammed the guy sold it as a mini 20 inch ''wrong''.has j at end of serial #'s started building and figuared i could still salvage it with real small components .small bars, ordered 30 mm stem from crupi, going with 1 1/8 wheels and tires as i built it i had a bad feeling i was building a jr.cruiser.the rear triangle was looking way to long got brakes on and ran down to gordy's bike shop. had owner kevin pop on a mini rear wheel and i was saddly right it's a jr. cruiser frame. saddly i have a little less than two years before she will be five, she will be the youngest girl cruiser rider at black mountain bmx track.so the alliant is going way on the back burner , the upside is i get to to it in black and pink. i got the green light from the girl friend, since she picked blue and black for the mini.which will be a black supercross evo is mini. like the alliant the frame is new and was never built up all the way. kevin from gordy's knew how bummed out i was to have to start over again he hooked me up real good with the evo.me and my kids would not have nearly as nice of rides if it was not for kevin at gordy's this is going be an awesome first race bike for her and will still be fully custom.
